What this policy covers

It covers information collected through gardrutdal.cfd: pages you request, the preference stored by the consent banner, and the email address you submit if you join the field-note list. It does not cover a third-party site you open from a link, including WhatsApp. Those services have their own notices.

Information we collect

If you only read the guides, we do not ask for your name. The server that hosts the site may record technical logs that are ordinary for web hosting: IP address, user agent, the page requested, and the time of the request. Those logs are used to keep the site operating and to diagnose faults.

If you join the list, you give us an email address. We do not ask for a job title, a phone number, or the contents of an interview on that form. If you write to [email protected] or message the published WhatsApp number, we receive whatever you choose to send, including the address or number you wrote from.

The consent banner stores a preference in your browser’s localStorage under the key cookie_notification. That record stays on your device. It tells the site whether to keep showing the banner. It is not sold and it is not a profile of your reading.

How we use information

We use an email address to send occasional notes about revisions to these guides, and to answer you if you write to us. We use technical logs to secure and operate the site. We use the consent preference only to respect the choice you already made on the banner. We do not use this information to build advertising audiences, and we do not sell personal information.

Newsletter

The form posts to signup.php on this site. Use a work or personal address you are willing to hear from. You may leave the list by writing to [email protected] with the subject “Remove.” We will stop sending notes to that address. Transactional replies to a question you asked are separate from the list and stop when the question is resolved.

Cookies, storage, and fonts

Details of the banner and of browser storage are in the cookie policy. In short: the site does not set advertising cookies. Pages request typefaces from Google Fonts. That request sends your IP address and browser data to Google under Google’s own terms. If you block third-party requests, the text still appears in a fallback face.

Sharing

We share personal information with service providers who host the site or deliver email, and only so they can perform that work. We also share it when a valid legal process requires it, or to protect the site and its readers. We do not share list addresses with sponsors, and we do not sell personal information.

Retention and security

A newsletter address stays while you are subscribed and for a short time after you ask to be removed, so the request can be finished. Correspondence is kept long enough to answer it. Host logs follow the host’s ordinary retention. Access to the mailbox is limited. Do not send confidential buyer recordings to [email protected] if your employer forbids that. No publishing site can promise perfect security.

Children

The guides are written for people who work on B2B purchases. They are not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us an email address, write to [email protected] and we will delete it.

Your choices

You may request access, correction, or deletion of the email address we hold. You may reject the consent banner, or clear site data so the banner returns. Email [email protected]. We may confirm that you control the address before we change it.

California residents

If you live in California, the CCPA as amended by the CPRA lets you ask what categories of personal information we collected, request deletion, correct inaccurate information, and not be discriminated against for asking. Over the past twelve months the categories collected through this site are identifiers, such as an email you submit, and internet activity, such as host logs of pages requested. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Email [email protected] or write to the Boston address. An authorized agent may submit a request with proof of authority.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will post the new text on this page and change the effective date. If a change materially expands how we use email addresses already on the list, we will describe that change in a note to the list before we rely on it.
